If there was one thing 2025 made clear, it’s that college marketing no longer lives in one place. It happens in group chats, on TikTok, at pop-ups between classes, and inside the small moments that actually move a student culture.
This is how you win on campus, and exactly what The Campus Agency does for brands.
This year was about turning attention into action. Turning content into conversations. And turning campus energy into measurable growth.
By the Numbers
Over the course of 2025 The Campus Agency activated one of the largest student-powered marketing engines in the country:
- 300+ brand ambassadors
- 60 large-scale on-campus pop-ups
- 719 ambassador-led events
- Activations across 100+ campuses
- 2.3M+ digital impressions
- 58,000+ likes, shares, and saves
But those numbers only matter because of what sat behind them: real students hosting real experiences inside their own communities.
Check out some of the highlights!
WhatsApp: Turning Group Chats Into Growth
WhatsApp came to us with a clear goal for Fall 2025, build real adoption inside student life, not just surface-level awareness. We built the entire program around the one place Gen Z already organizes everything: group chats.
We deployed 200 ambassadors across key East Coast campuses and paired them with an 18-campus mobile escape room tour designed to turn the app into something students could actually experience.
How it worked
Ambassadors didn’t just post. They hosted.
They created WhatsApp chats for:
- Friend groups
- Clubs and orgs
- Spirit squads
- Foodie circles
- Campus niches
Each chat became a living channel for invites, polls, HD media, event planning, giveaways, and daily student life. That’s how apps stick, when they become part of how people already connect.
At the same time, we ran large-scale WhatsApp Escape Room activations. Teams were dropped into two rooms and had to use a WhatsApp group chat to solve puzzles and break out. Winners walked away with Meta Ray-Bans, and everyone walked away understanding why the product mattered.
Branded tents at each stop let students join their campus-wide chat, grab merch, and get onboarded on the spot.
Fall 2025 Results
- 454 ambassador-led events
- 18 large-scale activations
- 477 TikTok & Instagram posts
- 1.2M impressions
- 1M reach
- 15,000 engagements
- 730 group chats created
- 13,000 new users
- 25,000 students inside ambassador-run chats
Adobe Express: Meeting Students Where They Already Are

Adobe Express had a powerful advantage most students didn’t even know about — free access through their schools. Our job was to turn that into everyday usage.
We ran a 28-campus tour built around one simple idea: make it easy, make it useful, and make it feel like it belongs on campus.
The setup
Every stop featured:
- Adobe Express-branded tote bags
- Hyper-local treats (cookies, donuts, cake pops, pizza slices, and more)
- On-site demos showing how the app helps with classes, clubs, resumes, and content
We activated in two ways:
- At massive back-to-school events packed with thousands of students
- At high-traffic pop-ups during the first weeks of the semester
That timing matters. Early semester energy is when students are building habits, joining orgs, and setting up their workflows.
Fall 2025 Results
- 45,000 QR scans
- 28,000 treats and merch pieces distributed
- 15,500 new Adobe Express sign-ups
This was the largest spike in downloads Adobe Express saw across our long-term partnership, driven by simple value exchange and strong on-site education.
Fortnite Fraternity Showdown
Some programs live online. Others need to live in the house.
This year we launched the Fortnite Fraternity Showdown, where fraternities competed to win a full game-room makeover. It brought together esports culture, campus rivalry, and physical space in a way that felt organic instead of forced.
The makeover reveal (yes, we filmed it) turned a campus competition into content that kept circulating long after the event ended.
What 2025 Proved
Students don’t want more ads. They want things to do, places to gather, and reasons to share.
Whether it was:
- A WhatsApp chat that became the hub for a whole org
- A tote bag and a cookie that unlocked a new creative tool
- Or a game room that turned into a social centerpiece
Every win this year came from the same idea: meet students where they already live, both digitally and physically, while giving them something worth talking about.
That’s how culture moves.
That’s how adoption happens.
And that’s how 2026 gets even bigger!
